Immune boosting, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic sauce

My immune boosting, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic sauce is not only delicious, it really is “food as medicine”. Please don’t let the title put you off, this sauce is absolutely delicious and great for a number of health concerns from poor immune function, fighting the common cold, parasites and fungal over growth such as candida and tinea.  

Therapeutic foods like garlic, lemon, oregano and thyme, are beneficial for our health and wellbeing. Traditional diets such as the Mediterranean diet included these types of foods, and more, in small quantities on a daily basis.    

Try this sauce as an accompaniment to fish, chicken or lamb.  Use it as a dip for veggies, a salad dressing or add it to your pesto or tomato based pasta sauce. 


2-6 garlic cloves (as much as you can handle) 

1/2 cup of extra-virgin olive oil or MCT oil 

1 cup of  fresh oregano, stalks removed

¼ cup of fresh thyme

¼ cup of fresh rosemary 

2 tablespoons of lemon juice 

2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar 

¼ of a teaspoon of sea salt

Place the ingredients into your food processor or blender and blitz until combined.  You can keep it chunky or keep blitzing util it emulsifies as pictured – it depends on your preference.
